Sarasota Jungle Gardens- a tropical adventure!

Sarasota Jungle Gardens

Follow the winding jungle trails to see over 150 native and exotic animals. Alligators, crocodiles, iguanas, lizards, snakes, primates, parrots, and small mammals are just some of the animals you will see on your visit. Feed the pink flamingos that roam free. They have flamingo food vending machines and the birds will flock to get the treats from you. It definitely makes for a great photo opportunity!

Jungle Gardens boasts 10 acres of  tropical landscaping with thousands of different plants, trees, and flowers from all over the world. They have a rare Australian Nut Tree, a Bunya Bunya tree, and the largest Norfolk Island pine in Florida.  Among others, the park lists a Bulrush, Strangler Figs, Royal Palms, Selloums, Banana Trees, Peruvian Apple Cactus, Staghorn Ferns, native Red Maples, Oak Trees, and Bald Cypress on their website.

Be sure to catch one of the entertaining shows the park offers. The alligator show is a must-see! At Jungle Gardens,  you really get a chance to interact with the animals. All ages are welcome to participate. Fun for everyone!
