The Village of the Arts in Bradenton offers a Community Trick or Treat Stroll every year on Halloween, where children can enjoy a stroll along this arts-centered neighborhood in safety. Activities will include locals passing out treats, sidewalk streets, child-friendly decorations, and local vendors.

This event is perfect for a family vacation and kicks off on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017 at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm. Head out on the 31st to the Village of the Arts at 1113 12th St. W. in Bradenton, FL to enjoy the festivities.

2017 Halloween Trail of Treats

For an exciting Halloween event right on Anna Maria Island, head over to the 2017 Halloween Trail of Treats on October 31st. This event is perfect for children as it will include a costume contest and offers a safe way for them to participate in trick or treating on the island.

Parents have the chance to experience a local community-focused event and shop from some of the island’s famous family-owned businesses. Make the most of Halloween and stop by the AMI Chamber of Commerce located at 5313 Gulf Dr, Holmes Beach, FL at 3:30 pm. The event continues until 8:00 pm.

Hunsader Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival

Locals know that the Hunsader Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival is one of the top festivities near rentals in Anna Maria Island, and you’ll get to enjoy it during your next visit or vacation. Hunsader Farms goes all out with the event, hosting a huge array of fun-filled adventures such as bird shows, motocross events, circuses, live music, a ventriloquist show, dance competitions, rock climbing walls, train rides, local foods, a petting zoo and much more.

The festival is full of things to do to fill out your schedule each day, and you’ll get to shop at plenty of local vendors to pick up crafts and gifts to take back home. You’ll probably want to visit this one more than one day as it’s so fun and has so much to do for people of all ages.

The Hunsader Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival will be held on October 21-22 and 28-29 from 9 am to 5 pm. Don’t miss this one, as it’s not too far from Anna Maria Island at 5500 C.R. 675 in Bradenton, Florida.

Spirit Voices from Old Manatee

The 7th and final season of the Spirit Voices from Old Manatee will be held this year after first premiering in 2011. This living history event showcases period actors showcase 1850s settlers and offer chilling graveside stories based on historic diaries, logs, legends, and descendant tales.

Learn about the region and how it developed from the 1850s to today, while getting a new appreciation of what the pioneers of the region went through.
