St. Paddy’s Day Parade
Step outside of your beachfront condo rental on St. Patrick’s Day and head over to Holmes Beach. Beach Bistro hosts the parade every year, and the parade starts the entire holiday on the island. The parade begins on Gulf Avenue at Eat Here and trails north to Holmes Beach, where it comes to an end at 85th Street.
You will see everything from Irish step dancing to bagpipers playing classic Celtic tunes. Local high school bands also get to play in the parade. Get there by 4 p.m. so that you can get up close. There is no cost to get into the parade, but you should don your best green attire for this event!
Duffy’s Tavern
Duffy’s Tavern on Marina Drive in Holmes Beach has been running since all the way back in 1958, and you’d better believe that they love to get into the St. Paddy’s Day spirit! And what better way to do that than with mouth-watering spirits? They offer more than 20 beers, so you’re bound to have a good time.

Freckled Fin
Treat yourself to some amazing grub at this authentic Irish pub. They’re open all day from 9 a.m. and serve up Irish favorites like their legendary corned beef with cabbage. You can still select from the regular ol’ dinner menu, and there are plenty of yummy dishes on it. The St. Patrick’s Pizza is a 12-inch roasted crust pizza doused with leek spread and sour cream, bacon, thinly sliced potato (because it’s Irish, obviously), Irish cheddar, green onion, mozzarella, and arugula. It gets thyme oil drizzled over it for the finishing touch. This one is always a favorite on St. Paddy’s Day.
Bringing your kids along? There is an amazing kids’ menu that has everything from a personalized pizza to grilled chicken kabob. Naturally, the fish and chips will make your kid feel pretty Irish so that one is a popular choice. Also, almost everything on the kids’ menu is just $6.
Of course, they will have drink specials going, and there will be live music from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. They promise not to “poison” their customers with green beer, but they will certainly have all those delicious Irish whiskeys, beers, and cocktails flowing. No matter what you grab to drink, you’re bound to love getting freckled up at The Fin!

Make sure to hit up Clancy’s Irish Sports Pub before returning to the comfort of your Anna Maria Island rentals. Clancy’s is located on Cortez Rd W in Bradenton and takes this holiday very seriously. You’ll find that everything goes green here on St. Patrick’s Day
You’ll also get treated to some awesome live Irish music here during the afternoon and evening hours, and there will be a performance here by a lovely group of Irish step dancers. Park your rental bike outside and go on in for your Irish fix.
