Bradenton Beach – Beaches

Bradenton Beach is always a popular choice when visiting the beautiful Anna Maria Island, but if you’re not familiar with the area, you may not know about the other beaches nearby. You can find Bradenton Beach at the southernmost tip of Anna Maria Island in the city of Bradenton Beach and can be accessed off of most side streets on Gulf Drive.

Directly north of Bradenton Beach lies the closest alternative, Anna Maria Beach. Equally as beautiful but a little bit smaller, Anna Maria is a great option if you are looking for slightly more privacy. Even farther north up the Islands coast, you will find Coquina and Cortez beaches. Both of these beaches feature shaded parking and long, breathtaking views up and down the Gulf coast. Parking is limited for both beaches so if you decide to go on the weekend, be sure to arrive early.

At the northernmost point of Anna Maria Island, you will find Holmes Beach. Although Holmes Beach is not as popular as the other beaches, it is just as beautiful and scenic. It boasts nearly 3 miles of beaches and most of them are pretty quiet. If you are looking for a beach to relax on, Holmes Beach is the right fit for you. You will find that all of the beaches and towns on Anna Maria Island are charming, each filled with sentimental shops and diverse restaurants, all placed along the beautiful Florida coastline creating the picture-perfect setting to any vacation story.

On Anna Maria Island you don’t have to imagine waking up to sunrises that leave you speechless because it’s a reality 365 days of the year. Almost every vacation rental offers a glimpse of the magnificent sunsets night after night, no matter where your Anna Maria Island vacation rental is located. You will find that life here revolves around the idea that relaxation comes before anything else. It doesn’t get much better than the opulence of Anna Maria Island!
